What is Kre-Alkalyn®?

Kre-Alkalyn® is “buffered creatine” that does not convert into creatinine prior to reaching skeletal muscle tissue. Kre-Alkalyn® is a nutritional supplement that comes in powder form. It is packaged in a purple caplet that can be administered orally. Kre-Alkalyn® is manufactured by All American Pharmaceutical Corporation and is registered under United States patent 6,399,661.

At every point of every day, your body needs energy. Now, this need is not for the kind of energy you get by drinking coffee or popping a diet pill filled with caffeine. That kind of energy is stimulant in nature, and in no way supports the body’s nutritional energy requirements.

The kind of energy we are talking about here is ATP energy. It’s this kind of energy produced through the consumption of calories that allows the body to move. Without ATP energy, you wouldn’t even be able to blink an eye, let alone lift a heavy dumbbell! The body derives this energy by using different metabolic mechanisms. In all, there are three energy systems responsible for the production of ATP energy. These are: the Phosphagen system, glycolosis, and the oxidative system. Each is being utilized to some degree every day. However, depending on your activity (energy requirements), the body may shift its primary dependence on one particular system.

Is Kre-Alkalyn® safe?

Because buffered creatine, also known as Kre-Alkalyn®, only contains magnesium and creatine, it is regarded as a safe health supplement. If you were to take a magnesium supplement in tablet or powdered form along with a basic form of creatine such as creatine monohydrate, you would likely have similar results.

As there has not been an exhaustive amount of research done on buffered creatine, it is about as safe as all other supplements. If you want to take buffered creatine to build more muscle mass, you will need to be cleared by your doctor first.

Getting started with Kre-Alkalyn®

Kre-Alkalyn® Forte does not need to "load". The production process uses a unique multi-step quality control process to optimise its purity and efficacy.

The average athlete usually needs 2 to 4 capsules (1.5 to 3 grams) per day. This dosage seems to work best for 80% of the population. However, about 10% of athletes will need a slightly higher dosage to achieve optimal results. For those who need more, we recommend taking an extra capsule (750 mg) per day until there is a marked improvement in performance and recovery. It is important to know that hardly anyone has ever needed more than 6 to 8 capsules (4.5 to 6 grams) per day.

When & how to use?

Take one serving 30 to 60 minutes before training, then another immediately after your training. For example, if you are using 4 capsules per day, take 2 capsules 60 minutes before training and 2 more immediately after your training.

On days when you are not training, it is best to take your daily portion with breakfast. During these days, take half of your normal dose and measure the results. If these results remain the same, you will save product and money.

Research has shown that Kre-Alkalyn® Forte does not need to be cycled. However, once every 3 months some athletes restrict the use for about 7-14 days and then return to the normal dosage.
